For six generations my family have lived on a beautiful piece of land, Hartwood, in the heart of Southland, New Zealand. Fifteen years of my life were spent looking out at the Takitimu mountains, feeding lambs, cuddling cats and taking photos.​ Now for the last few years I've been in Christchurch with my boys, so I honour my heritage with my business name. I may not be a Beck by name, but it is etched in my heart.
